Commencing downtown, this excursion is perfect for those who want to explore the “different urban faces” of culturally diverse Vancouver and see some of our most iconic natural vistas. Made up of a series of mini-walking tours, discover the thriving residential area known as the West End on route to English Bay, where, on a clear day, you are able to see beautiful Vancouver Island.  From here you will continue on to Vancouver’s famous Stanley Park, a 1000-acre peninsula of rainforest with old growth trees in the heart of a city.  Your first stop here will be at the famed Native Totem Pole Garden, then onto viewpoints in the park that showcase some of Vancouver’s iconic vistas.  At Brockton Point, you will enjoy a view of the Port of Vancouver and the beautiful city skyline.  From Prospect Point, you will delight in the North Shore mountains, Lions Gate Bridge and Burrard Inlet.  And of course, the magnificent Pacific Ocean is in view from almost anywhere you look! You’ll continue onto popular Yaletown, which formerly was a heavy industrial area dominated by warehouses and rail yards but is now transformed into one of Vancouver’s most diverse and trendy districts.  From there you’ll head off through Chinatown, and then into historic Gastown, the place where Vancouver began less than 140 years ago, which today still retains its historic charm and distinct independent spirit. From here, you will travel to historic Granville Island, filled with world-class shops, art galleries, a Public Market and superb restaurants. Amidst these incredible settings, you have the option to enjoy a Gourmet Picnic, Picnic Lunch Bag, or stop at one of our Best of the Locals™ restaurants. With unforgettable memories of an invigorating outing, you will then be escorted back to your hotel to share your stories and memories.
